Ordinary clothing gets soaked after a short rain shower and feels heavy. Climescape vests, on the other hand, can withstand at least four hours of continuous rain and snow. The Climescape family Warnoch has been developing in the field of water-repellent textiles since 1881 and the family is constantly improving the yarns and fabrics. In 2012, all this led to a well-deserved Innovation Award.

The materials from which the Climescape clothing is made are made with nano-tex aquapel technology. Aquapel stands for water-repellent. The fabric consists of 80% pre-shrunk cotton and 20% polyester fleece. This makes the fabric shrink-resistant and lightweight (320 grams per m2).

Climescape is made to retain its color, water-repellent effect and size wash after wash (provided that the washing instructions on the washing label are adhered to). If the water-repellent effect starts to decrease (this only happens after a considerable number of washes), you can restore this completely by ironing the fabric. In this way, the nano-tex effect is reactivated.
